Location

Kerala is the southern most state of India. It lies between 8°18' and 12°48' latitude and 74°52' and 72°22' longitude. The total geographic area of the state is 38, 863 sq km. It is surrounded by Tamil Nadu in the east and Karnataka in the north-east, to its west lies the Arabian Sea and to its south the Indian Ocean.

 

When to visit…

The best time to visit Kerala is during the winters in the month of December-February. The temperatures are pleasant during this time. You can also visit Kerala during the festive season in March-April, if you want to witness the true colors of Kerala and its rich cultural heritage that manifests itself in the form of various classical arts and folklores performed during the festivals.
